Atlas Automotive Equipment is a manufacturer of shop equipment and the second-largest equipment supplier on this site after BendPak. Everything listed under Atlas here is new equipment. The range is broad rather than specialized: two-post and four-post lifts, scissor lifts, mobile column lifts, rolling bridge jacks, alignment lifts and alignment combo kits, tire changers, changer-and-balancer packages, wheel aligners, wheel lifts, sandblast cabinets, a spray wash cabinet and air compressors. Atlas does not supply engines, transmissions or drivetrain parts.

What is stocked

Lifts are the core of the range: four-post and two-post models covering home-garage through commercial capacities, plus scissor lifts including the 6MR and 7K-Kwik-Bay portable mid-rise units, the FM9SL in-ground full-rise 9,000 lb lift and the 6PL open-center low-rise. Tire and wheel equipment includes the TC229 rim clamp changer with beadblaster and the Platinum PTC500 center post changer, along with changer-and-balancer packages that outfit a tire bay in one order. Alignment combo kits pair a lift with an aligner. Other shop equipment includes the SBC420, SBC990 and SBC1200 sandblast cabinets, a pressurized cabinet, a spray wash cabinet, and 5 HP 80-gallon, 10 HP 120-gallon and Honda-powered gas air compressors.

Choosing and installing

For lifts, confirm capacity, ceiling height, slab specification and electrical supply before ordering. For the 10 HP compressors, check whether you have single-phase or three-phase service, since both versions are listed and they are not interchangeable. Equipment ships crated by freight, and anchoring and electrical hookup are buyer-arranged.

Certification and warranty

Some Atlas lift models sold here are ALI Certified, and the product page says so where that applies. That certification is held by the manufacturer and attaches to the specific lift model. Variety Engines sells those models and is not itself ALI certified, accredited or a member.
