How to choose

Tonnage is the first decision. The listings group like this:

• 20 ton: Ranger 20 Ton Commercial Grade Hydraulic Shop Press; AFF 820A Shop Press 20 Ton; AFF 850ASD 20 Ton Super Duty Shop Press
• 30 ton: AFF 852ASD 30 Ton Super Duty Shop Press
• 35 ton: AFF 834 Shop Press 35 Ton
• 50 ton: AFF 837 Shop Press 50 Ton; AFF 854ASD 50 Ton Super Duty Shop Press
• 75 ton: Mahle CSP-75 75 Ton Shop Press

AFF lists two lines at the same rated tonnage. At 20 ton there is the 820A and the 850ASD Super Duty; at 50 ton there is the 837 and the 854ASD Super Duty. The Super Duty models cost more at the same rating, so if you are comparing on tonnage alone the model suffix is the detail to check. The Ranger 20 ton is the entry point for this category, and the Mahle CSP-75 is the only 75 ton unit listed.

No frame dimensions, ram stroke or working table data are recorded on these listings. If clearance in your press bay matters, call before ordering rather than assuming from the tonnage.

Installation, freight and what is included

Each press ships as the model named in its title. Presses of this size need floor space and a solid slab, and assembly is not included. We ship by freight, so confirm your delivery access and whether you need a liftgate when the order is placed.

These are new machines and carry the manufacturer’s warranty. The extended warranty offered on qualifying remanufactured drivetrain units does not apply to shop equipment.
