Wheel lifts here cover six new machines from three makers under Shop Equipment. Read the ratings carefully, because they are not all measured the same way. The two Mahle units are rated in tons and the two Rotary units are rated in pounds, so they are not doing the same job. Match the rating to the work before you compare prices.

How to choose

From Mahle there are two units: the CWL-15 wheel lift, 15 ton, and the CWL-10 wheel lift, 10 ton. These are the two highest priced items in the category.

From Rotary there are two tire and wheel lifts rated in pounds: the MW-200 at 200 lbs and the MW-500 at 500 lbs. If your aim is to stop lifting tire and wheel assemblies by hand, these are the listings to look at, and the choice between them is the weight you actually handle.

From Atlas there are two portable wheel lifts at the same price, one centered and one off-center. That is the only difference recorded between them, so the deciding factor is where the lift needs to sit relative to the wheel.

Nothing beyond the capacities above is published on these listings. We do not hold lift heights, wheel diameter ranges, power or air requirements, or weights here. Do not assume two units from the same maker share anything but the family name. Ask the manufacturer’s spec sheet for the exact model, or call us and we will read you what the listing holds.

Installation, freight and what is included

These are new machines and they carry the manufacturer’s warranty. The extended warranty offered on qualifying remanufactured drivetrain units does not apply to shop equipment, and there is no core charge on new equipment. What ships with each unit is set by the manufacturer, so ask before ordering if a particular adapter or accessory matters.
