Coverage runs 1989 through 2019. Four-cylinder listings include KA24DE for the 1994-1998 240SX and 1999-2001 applications, QG18DE for the 2000-2006 Sentra, QR25DE for 2005-2017 Altima and Rogue applications in FWD and AWD, MR16DDT for the 2011-2017 Juke, Sentra and Juke Nismo, MR18DE for the Cube and Sentra, MR20DE for the NV200 cargo and taxi vans, and HR16DE for the Versa and Micra. V6 listings include VG30E and VG33E for the D21 pickup and Pathfinder, VQ35DE for 2007-2016 applications, VQ37VHR for the 2008-2016 370Z and Infiniti Q40, Q50, Q60, Q70, QX50, QX70, M37, EX37 and FX37, and VQ40DE for 2005-2018 Nissan and Suzuki. V8 listings include VK45DE, VK50VE, VK56DE and VK56VD for Titan, Armada, QX56, QX80, FX45, FX50 and M45, and the twin-turbo VR38DETT for the 2009-2016 GT-R.

How to identify yours

Nissan casts the engine code on the block, and our listings quote both the code and where to look – the passenger (right) side, the bell housing, or the bottom of the block. Block castings published here include QR25DE, QR25, VQ35DE, VQ35, VQ40DE EA2, VK56DE, VK56, HR16DE, MR18, MR20, JA0, JA1, EM5, EN2, ED0, 6N2, 7S0, 8H7, 9HP and 3KY. Head castings include ZH2R, 9N0, JA1, 4GA and EA2; crank castings include 3TA, AE0, EE0, JA0 and EA2. On the QR25DE, drive type is a real fitment split – the 2005-2006 units are listed separately for FWD and AWD – so check yours before ordering. Core charge and warranty

Exchange units – a refundable core charge may apply and your old engine returns as the core. Every engine carries a 6-month limited warranty as standard. For qualifying remanufactured units, a 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request and are arranged at the time of purchase; they are not automatic.
