Description

No vehicle model is named in this listing — it is published as a 1999-2001 Nissan KA24DE 2.4L and nothing more specific than that. The single casting recorded is a right head cast #4, with no VIN code alongside it. Because the fitment is given by engine code and years only, confirm the KA24DE code on your own engine and your model year before ordering. Anything past that code, the displacement and those three model years is simply not on the record.

1999-2001 Nissan KA24DE 2.4. Right Head Cast #4.

Remanufacturing & Warranty

Every engine we sell is fully remanufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications:

  • Deep Clean – To start the remanufacturing process, every engine is fully disassembled and hot tanked (cast iron) or thermally cleaned (aluminum)
  • Inspection – Magnaflux testing uses magnetic particles to inspect metal, checking for microscopic cracks and fissures that will cause long-term failure. All parts are visually inspected as well.
  • Machining and New Parts – Deck surfaces are CNC machined and new parts are added. New parts include bearings, pistons, rings, lifters, oil pump, gaskets, Viton™ valve seals, freeze plugs, galley plugs and either a new timing chain (with new tensioners) or a new timing belt (with new tensioner). If an engine has a timing-driven water pump, a new pump is installed.
  • SIM Testing – Each engine is SIM tested after reassembly, with the cooling and oil systems being fully pressurized and the crank being spun at high RPM to verify compression and build quality.

Every engine carries a 6-month limited warranty as standard. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core-fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units — ask us before you order and we will confirm eligibility.
