This is the 1.8L bracket of our remanufactured engine catalogue, under Engines. Thirteen engines are listed and every one that carries a block type is a four cylinder L block.

What fits what

Nissan is the largest group, with six listings: an MR18DE for 2006-2012, a 2013-2019 Nissan Sentra MR18DE, two 2011-2014 Nissan Cube MR18DE engines separated by stock number, and QG18DE engines for the 2000-2002 and the 2002-2006 Nissan Sentra. Honda and Acura are covered by an R18A1 for 2006-2011, a B18C5 for 1997-2000, and two B18C1 listings, one for 1994-1995 and one for 1996-2001. Toyota is covered by a 2ZR-FE listed under Pontiac and a 2ZRFXE for the 2010-2018 Toyota Corolla and Matrix and Pontiac Vibe. There is one Chrysler group engine, an EBA for the 2007-2009 Dodge Caliber.

The 2ZR-FE title carries a bare five digit number, 43258, where a date range should be. That is a defect in the source data, not a model code or a year, so call for the coverage on that listing.

How to identify yours

The two 2011-2014 Nissan Cube MR18DE engines are separated only by stock number, 13200E and 13201E, so quote the stock number when you order. The two B18C1 engines are separated by casting location: the 1994-1995 unit, vendor SKU 535A, casts on the left side bellhousing (P72) or right side (B18C1); the 1996-2001 unit, vendor SKU 535D, casts on the driver side bell housing bottom.

Other identifiers: the Honda R18A1 is vendor SKU 557, block casting R18A1 or RNA, crank casting RNA, SOHC 16 valve. The 2ZR-FE is vendor SKU 866, block casting 2ZR, cast on the exhaust side front above the water pump, with an aluminum block and aluminum head. Ignore the Body Style attribute; it is mislabelled across the catalogue.

Core charge and warranty

These are exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply. We do not publish a core amount, so call for it. Remanufactured units carry a 6-month limited warranty. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
