Dana 30 is the axle family behind these remanufactured front carrier assemblies, listed under Differentials. Nine are stocked, covering Ford Explorer, Jeep Liberty, and Liberty and Nitro. All nine list a ring gear diameter of 7.12 and a vendor SKU beginning RAA440. Ratio and vehicle group are what separate them.

What fits what

Three SKU families cover three vehicle groups. RAA440-1376 is the 2002-2005 Ford Explorer, listed in 3.73 as RAA440-1376B and 3.55 as RAA440-1376A. RAA440-1369 is the earlier Jeep Liberty: RAA440-1369C for the 2002-2005 Liberty 2.4l at 4.10, RAA440-1369B for the 2002-2007 Liberty 3.7l at 3.73, and RAA440-1369A for the 2005-2007 Liberty. RAA440-149 is the 2007-2012 Liberty and Nitro, and it is the widest group here, offered in four ratios: 3.73 as RAA440-149C, 3.55 as RAA440-149B, 3.21 as RAA440-149A and 3.07 as RAA440-149D.

How to identify yours

Ratio first. The ratios recorded across this category are 3.07, 3.21, 3.55, 3.73 and 4.10. Because the 2007-2012 Liberty and Nitro carrier is offered in four of those, the year and vehicle alone will not pick the right unit. Confirm the ratio in your truck, then quote us the full vendor SKU.

One caution on the source data. The 2005-2007 Jeep Liberty carrier, RAA440-1369A, has a corrupted value stored in its gear ratio field. It reads 0.163194444, which is not a gear ratio. Do not order that unit on ratio alone; call and we will confirm what it is before it ships.

Ring gear diameter is 7.12 across every listing here, so it will not separate them. Yoke style, spline counts and locker fitment are not recorded in this data, and we will not guess at them. If your axle tag is unreadable, have the year, model and engine ready when you call.

Core charge and warranty

These are remanufactured exchange units and a refundable core charge may apply. No core amount is published, so call for it at the time of purchase. A 6-month limited warranty is standard. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
