Nissan

Nissan is a vehicle make rather than a supplier brand. This archive collects the remanufactured engines, manual transmissions and transfer cases we stock for Nissan and Infiniti vehicles. Engines make up most of it, and several listings cover Infiniti as well as Nissan because the engines are shared.

What is stocked under Nissan

Remanufactured engines include the QR25DE 2.5L four-cylinder in front-wheel-drive and later variants, the VQ35DE 3.5L V6 across several year bands, the VK56DE 5.6L V8, and 1.6L, 1.8L, 2.0L, 2.4L, 3.8L and 4.0L units, with year ranges stated on each listing. Manual transmissions include the RS5F91R among others, and a small group of transfer cases including TX15A units is also listed.

Ordering the right unit

Order by engine code and VIN rather than by model year. The VQ35DE in particular was produced over a long run with different intake, accessory and emissions specifications, which is why the listings are split by year band. On the QR25DE, confirm whether your application is front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, since the listings distinguish them. If you are replacing an engine, note whether you are buying a long block or a more complete assembly, because that determines what has to be transferred from the old unit.

Warranty

A 6-month limited warranty applies as standard. On qualifying remanufactured units, a 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core-fee waiver are available on request, so ask before you order. Variety Engines is an independent seller and is not affiliated with Nissan. Call 216-250-6666 with your VIN and engine code and we will check the unit before it ships.
