Ford is a vehicle make rather than a supplier brand. What is stocked under Ford

Transfer cases are the biggest group and include BorgWarner units such as the BW1356 and BW4412 families, along with New Process and New Venture units including the NP273. Manual transmissions include the M5R1, the heavy-duty S5-42 and S6-S650F, the T5 and the MT82. Differentials cover the Ford 8.8 and Ford 9.75 rear axles and the Dana 35. Remanufactured engines listed under Ford include the 3.5L V6, the 4.2L V6, LPG and CNG variants of the 6.1L and 6.2L V8, and the 6.7L V8, including 6.7L diesel long blocks for the F-250 and F-350. Used Ford engine assemblies currently cover Mustang, F-150, Explorer and Expedition applications. Year ranges are stated on every listing.

Ordering the right unit

Ford changed unit specifications frequently, sometimes within a single model year, so ordering by model year alone is not reliable. Have the VIN, the engine or transmission code, the axle ratio if you are buying a differential, and the tag number from the transfer case where one is present. Note whether the vehicle is four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, whether the transfer case is manual shift or electric shift, and whether the output is slip yoke or fixed yoke, because those are the details that decide fitment.

Warranty

All units carry a 6-month limited warranty as standard. On qualifying remanufactured units, a 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core-fee waiver are available on request, so ask before you order. Used engine assemblies are used units rather than remanufactured ones and carry the standard 6-month warranty only.
