BW4464

This category holds seven remanufactured exchange transfer cases listed as BW4464 and BW4465, all under the Ford brand, within Transfer Cases. Note the data first. Three listings carry the model number BW1356 even though the title reads BW4464, two listings titled BW4465 carry the model number BW4464, and one reads “Manual Shift” in the title while its own notes say electric shift. Match on the tag number and Hollander number, not on the model number field.

What fits what

Four units are listed for 2017-2019 F250/F350 and share a 43 spline input. Two of those are titled for 6.7L Diesel, both manual shift: one with a front bolt on yoke and a rear slip yoke, one with front and rear bolt on yokes. The other two are electric shift with the shift motor not included, in those same two yoke configurations.

Three further units are listed for 2017-2019 Ford and are separated by rear output. One has a bolt on U-joint style rear output yoke and a shift lever bolted to the shift shaft with a nut. One has a bolt on flat flange rear output yoke with the same shift lever description. The third is titled manual shift with front and rear bolt on yokes, while its notes describe a bolt on U-joint style rear output yoke and no shift motor. All three list a yellow 7 tooth speedo gear on the mainshaft.

How to identify yours

The 43 spline F250/F350 units all carry tag numbers starting HC34. Hollander 412-890 is the manual shift with front and rear bolt on yokes (RTC4465F-1), 412-891 the manual shift with rear slip yoke (RTC4465F-2), 412-886 the electric shift with front and rear bolt on yokes (RTC4464F-1), and 412-887 the electric shift with rear slip yoke (RTC4464F-2). The other three carry E and F series tag numbers such as E7TA-BA, E9TA-PB and F0TA-XA, with Hollander numbers 412-381, 412-205B and 412-206A. On every electric shift unit here the shift motor is not included.

These are remanufactured exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply. Call for the amount. A 6-month limited warranty is standard. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
