What fits what

Ford coverage runs to three units: a 4.6 3 Valve V8 listed for 2009-2010 Ford F-150 and Explorer, a 3V unit for the 2008-10 Ford Mustang GT, and an engine for the 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage. On the Toyota and Lexus side there is a 1URFE listed for 2012-2017, a 1UR-FE listed for 2010-2011 Toyota Tundra and Sequoia and 2010-20 Lexus GX460, and a Lexus 1URFSE V8. The Lexus 1URFSE title carries a bare five digit number, 42953, where a date range should be. That is a defect in the source data, not a model code, so call us for the year coverage on that one rather than reading it as a year.

How to identify yours

The 2009-2010 F-150 and Explorer engine is SOHC, vendor SKU DFD2, with block casting 7L2E-6015-BA, head casting 9L3E-6C064-BA and crank casting F65E-B27D/BC. The 2008-10 Mustang GT 3V is SOHC, 24 valve, vendor SKU DFME, crank casting F65E-B7D. The 2012-2017 Toyota 1URFE is vendor SKU 863B with block casting 1UR-FE. The Lexus 1URFSE is DOHC, 32 valve, vendor SKU 863, block casting 1UR. Read the numbers off your own block and heads and match them to the listing. Year alone is not enough to separate these.

These are exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply. We do not publish a core amount, so call for it. Remanufactured drivetrain units carry a 6-month limited warranty. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
