The five Honda and Acura F-series and H-series listings are the ones you can match on hard data. All five are 4 cylinder, L block, 16 valve engines listed as gasoline. They split by head type: the three F23 engines are SOHC, and the two H23A1 engines are DOHC.

Casting location is recorded as DRIVER & PASS SIDES on the three F23 engines and DRIVER SIDE #1 BOTTOM on both H23A1 engines. The two H23A1 listings share the same block casting, so the crank casting is what separates them: P0A on the 1993-1995 unit and PT3 on the 1992-1993 unit. Read the crank casting first.

These are remanufactured exchange units. A refundable core charge may apply and no core amount is published, so call for the figure. Remanufactured drivetrain units carry a 6-month limited warranty as standard. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
