BW1370/BW4401

This category lists five remanufactured transfer cases carried under the model number BW1370 and BW4401, all for GM trucks. Every one is listed with a 32 spline front input and with PTO in the notes. What fits what

Three of the five are listed for GM K3500: one for 1995-2000, one for 1994, and two for 1989-1993. The remaining unit is listed for GM 84-00 F3500. Because two separate units cover 1989-1993 K3500, the year alone will not get you the right case on that application.

How to identify yours

Work from the tag number and the yoke description. The 1995-2000 K3500 case, vendor SKU RTC1370G-6, is listed with a fixed, bolt on front output yoke, a slip yoke style rear output and a 3 prong shift indicator switch, tag numbers 15963371, 15997310, 15016964 and 15733773, Hollander number 412-305, other number UMT305. The 84-00 F3500 case, RTC1370G-5, has bolt on front and rear output yokes and a 3 prong switch, tag numbers 15733774, 15993372, 15997311 and 15016965, Hollander number 412-307, other number UMT117-1. The 1994 K3500 case, RTC1370G-4, has a 4 inch bell style front output yoke, a slip yoke style rear output shaft and a 3 prong switch, tag numbers 15683857 and 15997307, Hollander number 412-460, other number UMT119-1.

The two 1989-1993 K3500 cases both use a 4 inch bell style front output yoke and a 2 prong shift indicator switch, and they split on the rear. RTC1370G-2 has a slip yoke style rear output shaft, tag numbers 15607553, 15659498, 15696735 and 15965653, Hollander number 412-275, other number UMT118-1. RTC1370G-1 has a bolt on rear output yoke, tag numbers 15607554, 15622873, 15696734, 15659693 and 15965652, Hollander numbers 412-236 and 412-276, other number UMT116-2.

Remanufactured drivetrain units carry a 6-month limited warranty. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
