What fits what

The manual shift units are the 1990-2005 Ranger, SKU RTC1354F-3, and the 2001-2004 Ranger, SKU RTC1354F-7. The electric shift units pair up: 1990-2005 as RTC1354F-2 and RTC1354F-2M, 1995-1998 Explorer and Ranger as RTC1354F-4 and RTC1354F-4M, 1998-2000 Explorer and Ranger as RTC1354F-1 and RTC1354F-1M, and 2000-2007 Explorer and Ranger as RTC1354F-6 and RTC1354F-6M.

Three listings need flagging. RTC1354F-1M, RTC1354F-2M and RTC1354F-4M give the year range and shift type in the title but no vehicle name, and no brand is recorded against them. Their year ranges, tag numbers and Hollander numbers match the equivalent non-M listings.

Electric shift with Bolt On Front and Rear Output Yokes, With Speedo Hole and Without Speed Sensor Holes carries tags F57A-AA, F57A-JA, F87A-BA and F87A-FA, Hollander 412-316. Electric shift with a Cup Style Front Output Yoke and Without Speedo/Sensor Holes carries tags F07A-BB, F07A-BC and F87A-AA, Hollander 412-238, 412-389A and 412-389B.

The 1990-2005 manual shift unit carries tags F07A-AB, F07A-AD, F07A-GA, F27A-KA, F37A-BA, F37A-BD, F47A-EA and F57A-BA, Hollander 412-237 and 412-315. The 2001-2004 manual shift Ranger carries tags 1L54-BB, 2L54-BA and 3L54-BA, Hollander 412-512A and 412-512B. The 2000-2007 Explorer and Ranger unit has by far the longest list, with tags in the 1L54, 2L24, 3L24, 3L54, 4L24, 4L54, 5L24, 5L54, 6L54, 8L54, 9L54 and YL54 series and thirteen Hollander numbers.
