How to identify yours

Tag numbers are the way in. The 1986-1990 electric shift case, vendor SKU RTC1350F-5, is listed without an external front yoke, with an internal U-joint and slip yoke style front output yoke, tag numbers E67A-AA, E67A-FA, E77A-KA, E87A-FA, E87A-JA and E87A-PA, Hollander number 412-190, other number UMT408. The 1987-1989 electric shift case, RTC1350F-4, has an external bolt on front output yoke, tag number E87A-NA, the same Hollander number 412-190, other number UMT407-2. Those two share a Hollander number, so the front yoke is the deciding detail there.

On the manual shift side, RTC1350F-3 for 1986-1993 has an external bolt on front output yoke and a one piece shift linkage, tag numbers E7TA-KA and E87A-KA, Hollander number 412-191, other number UMT407-1. RTC1350F-2 for 1983-1985 has an internal U-joint and slip yoke style front output yoke with a one piece shift linkage, tag numbers E37A-MA and E37A-MB, Hollander number 412-180A, other number UMT406-2. RTC1350F-1 for 1983-1993 has an external bolt on front output yoke and a bolt on shift linkage, with tag numbers including E37A-LA, E37A-LB, E57A-HA, E57A-JA, E57A-KA, E67A-CA, E67A-HA, E87A-GA, E87A-HA and E87A-LA, Hollander numbers 412-180A, 412-180B, 412-180C and 412-191, other number UMT406-1.

Remanufactured drivetrain units carry a 6-month limited warranty. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
