Four remanufactured NV5600 6 speed manual transmissions are listed here, all for RAM 5.9L diesel: 1998-2000 and 1999-2005, each in 4×4 and 2WD. All four have a cast iron case and an aluminum bell housing.
How to identify yours
Input shaft diameter splits the two year groups. The 1998-2000 units use a 1-1/4 inch diameter input shaft, ID 52108402 for 4×4, Hollander 400-03354, and ID 52108401 for 2WD, Hollander 400-03353. The 1999-2005 units use a 1-3/8 inch diameter input shaft, ID 52108502AA, AB or AC for 4×4, Hollander 400-04301, and ID 52108501AA, AB or AC for 2WD, Hollander 400-04302. Check the shaft and the drive type before ordering, not just the year.
