NP261
This category lists remanufactured NP261 transfer cases for GM trucks. Three are stocked, all manual shift with option code NP2: a 1999-2007 GM pickup unit with a 32 spline front input, vendor SKU RTC261GHD-1; a 2001-2007 Chevy Silverado unit with a 29 spline front input, SKU RTC261GXHD-1; and a 1999-2007 GM pickup unit with a 27 spline front input, SKU RTC261GLD-1.
How to identify yours
Input spline count is the deciding detail, 27, 29 or 32. The 29 spline unit also lists an internal spline front output shaft and a 31 spline, 1.608 inch outside diameter slip yoke style rear output shaft.
