Four remanufactured BW4411 transfer cases are listed here across Ford and Lincoln listings: 2004-2005 Explorer and Mountaineer, 2003-2005 Aviator and Mountaineer, 2002-2004 Explorer and Mountaineer, and a 2004-2005 Ford unit supplied with a new shift motor.

How to identify yours

All four use a cup style front output yoke and a circular rear output yoke with no speedo hole. Past that they differ: the 4L24 tag units are electric shift from 09/2003 with cross member mounting holes, Hollander 412-118; the Aviator and Mountaineer unit is single speed with torque on demand and does not use a shift motor, tags 3C54-BC, 3C54-CB and 4C54-AD, Hollander 412-234 and 412-775; the 2002-2004 unit is two speed viscous drive, 1L24 tags, Hollander 412-566. Two listings exclude the shift motor and one includes a new one.
