This category groups remanufactured 5.0L engines by displacement rather than by make, so it sits under Engines and mixes four brands. Six engines are listed: three Ford, two Lexus and one Infiniti. Displacement on its own will not identify your engine, so use the year range, the vehicle and the engine code in each title.

What fits what

The Ford listings are a 2015-2016 Ford F-150, a 2012-2013 Ford Mustang and a 2015-2016 Ford Mustang. The two Mustang listings cover different year ranges, so check yours before ordering.

The Lexus listings are a 2008-2014 Lexus IS-F with the 2UR-GSE engine, and a Lexus 2URFSE 5.0L V8. The 2URFSE listing is the only engine in this category with full attributes recorded: block casting 2URFSE, vendor SKU 864, fuel type gasoline hybrid electric, eight cylinders, V block, DOHC heads and 32 valves. That listing has no year range in its title. What follows the model name is a five digit number, 42832, which is a data artifact and not a year or a part number, so ignore it and confirm the application by phone. Both Lexus engines are also filed under Toyota.

The sixth engine is a 2009-2013 Infiniti FX50 and QX70 with the VK50VE engine. It is filed under Nissan rather than under Engines, which is worth knowing if you are browsing the engine tree rather than this page.

How to identify yours

Where an engine code is printed, use it: 2UR-GSE for the IS-F, 2URFSE for the other Lexus, VK50VE for the Infiniti. The three Ford listings carry no engine code, casting number or vendor SKU on the page, so they are matched by year and model only. If you need more than that confirmed for a Ford, call before ordering rather than assuming two 5.0L Fords are the same engine. We publish only what the listing holds.

Core charge and warranty

These are remanufactured exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply. The amount is not published, so call for it. A 6-month limited warranty is standard on remanufactured drivetrain units. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
