This 4.7L page holds four remanufactured V8 engines. Three are Lexus and Toyota 2UZFE units, DOHC with 32 valves, vendor SKUs 853, 853A and 853B, block casting 2UZ. The fourth is a Dodge 4.7L V8 for 2005-2007 Dakota H.O. only, SOHC, vendor SKU DDK8.

How to identify yours

On the 2UZFE units, VVT is the deciding detail: the 1/98-11/04 and 1/04-5/05 listings are noted as non-VVT, and one listing is noted as VVT on intake. The 1/04-5/05 unit also has an extra boss on the head for the dipstick mount. Two of the Toyota listings warn that use of TRD equipment voids the warranty. One Toyota listing shows a bare number, 40029, where a date range should be, so call before ordering that one. The Dodge unit has block casting 53020331AB or 50022033AA and head casting 53021458 or HO, cast on the driver side of the block at #7.
