Two remanufactured Ford D28 front carrier assemblies are listed in this axle family, both for the 1993-1997 Ford Ranger and both under Differentials. Both are listed at a 6.625 ring gear diameter. The choice between them is ratio: vendor SKU RAA440-1330B is 4.11 and RAA440-1330A is 3.73.

Before you order

Check your axle tag for the ratio first. The front carrier has to match what is already in the truck. If the tag is gone, call 216-250-6666 or email sales@varietyengines.com with your VIN and we will work it out with you before anything ships. These are remanufactured exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply and no core amount is published. A 6-month limited warranty is standard, and a 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying units, arranged at the time of purchase.
