Chrysler 8

The Chrysler 8 axle family holds two remanufactured 8.0 inch IFS front carrier assemblies, both listed for the 2002-2005 RAM 1500 and both under Differentials. They differ only by gear ratio: vendor SKU RAA440-1368B is 3.92 and RAA440-1368A is 3.55.

Before you order

Read the ratio off your axle tag and match it, because a front carrier that does not match the rear is not usable. If you cannot find or read the tag, call 216-250-6666 or email sales@varietyengines.com with your VIN and we will confirm which of the two you need. Both are remanufactured exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply and no core amount is published. A 6-month limited warranty is standard, with a 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and core fee waiver available on request for qualifying units at the time of purchase.
