This page collects the Acura engines we stock. All of the remanufactured units here are Honda-family four cylinder and V6 engines, filed under this brand as well as under Honda and the matching displacement categories. One used engine assembly is also listed.

What we stock

Four cylinder. B18C1 1.8L DOHC 16 valve for 1994-1995 (vendor SKU 535A) and for 1996-2001 (535D), and B18C5 1.8L DOHC 16 valve for 1997-2000 (535B); all three carry block castings reading B18C1 or B18C5 with P72. K20A3 2.0L DOHC 16 valve for 2002-2006 (551A, block casting K20A3 with PNC, crank casting PNA). K24Z3 VTEC 2.4L DOHC 16 valve for 2009-2014 (561E), listed with VTC on the intake and a single exhaust port. Listed by vehicle: 2002-2004 RSX K20A2 2.0L, 2005-2006 RSX K20Z1 2.0L, 2006-2011 CSX K20Z2 2.0L and 2007-2012 RDX K23A1 2.3L.

V6. All of the V6 units here are SOHC 24 valve: J32A1 3.2L for 1999-2003 (548), J32A2 3.2L for 2002-2003 (548A), J32A3 3.2L for 2004-2006 (548B), J35A3 3.5L for 2001-2002 (547A), J35A5 3.5L for 2003-2006 (547B) and J37A1 3.5L for 2007-2009 (560). Listed by vehicle: 2009-2010 RL J37A2 3.7L, 2009-2014 TL and RL J37A4 3.7L, and 2010-2013 ZDX J37A5 3.7L. The used unit is a 2017 Acura ILX engine assembly.

Buying and support

Identify your engine by the code cast or stamped on the block rather than by model year, because several of these share a displacement. The listings give a casting location for most units: left side bellhousing on the J32A1, J32A2, J32A3, J35A3, J35A5, J37A1 and K20A3, driver side bell housing bottom on the 1996-2001 B18C1, and left side bellhousing or right side on the 1994-1995 B18C1 and the B18C5. Quote the vendor SKU when you call and we will confirm the match.

Remanufactured units carry a 6-month limited warranty. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
