Description
A 10 spline input shaft measuring 1.25 inch in diameter is the split that separates this NV4500 from its near twins, so measure before you order. It is listed for the 2001-2002 GM C3500HD 8.1L in 2WD, with a cast iron case, detachable bell housing, internal slave cylinder and a square four bolt shift tower, under Hollander number 400-03845. The rear output yoke is held on by a nut rather than a bolt, and the emergency brake mounts on the tail housing but is not included. Castings on file are main case 18157, 23167 or 33903, top cover 18860 or 25137, and tail housing 17106 or 17108.
