What fits what

Coverage comes straight off the titles. On the Wrangler side there is a unit for 2005-2006 Wrangler 4.0L 4WD, one for 2007-2010 Wrangler 3.8L 4WD, one for 2007-2008 Wrangler 3.8L 2WD and one for 2009-2010 Wrangler 3.8L 2WD. On the Liberty side there is a 2005 Liberty 2.4L 4WD unit and a 2005 Liberty 2.4L 2WD unit, plus 2005-2008 Liberty with 2007-2008 Nitro 3.7L 2WD, 2005-2008 Liberty with 07 Nitro 3.7L 4WD, and 2005-2006 Liberty with 07 Nitro 2.8L 4WD. The tenth is for the 2004-2008 Chrysler Crossfire.

How to identify yours

Two identifiers do the work: the ID number recorded on the unit and the Hollander number. Seven of the ten listings give both. The 2005 Liberty 2.4L 2WD is ID 52104707AA, Hollander 400-04495, and the 4WD version of the same is ID 52104708AA, Hollander 400-04497. The 2005-2006 Wrangler 4.0L 4WD is ID 52104646AA, Hollander 400-04675. The 3.7L Liberty and Nitro 2WD unit is ID 52104703AA, Hollander 400-04496, and the 4WD version lists IDs 52104702AA and 52104702AC, Hollander 400-04499. The 2.8L Liberty and Nitro 4WD unit lists IDs 52104704AA, 52104704AC and 52104704AD, Hollander 400-04498. The Chrysler Crossfire unit is ID 5096909AA, Hollander 400-04396.

Three listings carry a Hollander number with no ID recorded: 400-01094B for the 2007-2010 Wrangler 3.8L 4WD, 400-01094A for the 2009-2010 Wrangler 3.8L 2WD and 400-00465 for the 2007-2008 Wrangler 3.8L 2WD. If you cannot find a number on your case, have the year, engine and 2WD or 4WD ready when you call.

A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
