Description

The shift lever retainer here is the round push and twist style rather than a four bolt tower, which is the quickest way to tell this NV4500 apart. It is listed for 1992-1994 GM P-series in 2WD with no emergency brake mount on the tail housing, and it runs an external slave cylinder in a cast iron case with a detachable bell housing. Castings on file are main case 16812, top cover 17321 or 25138, and tail housing 17060; the rear output yoke uses a bolt and a 1.886 diameter seal surface. No Hollander number is published, so confirm by casting number and VIN before ordering.
