Hummer

Hummer here means remanufactured driveline parts for the H2 and H3: Borg Warner transfer cases and one front carrier assembly. Eight units are listed. Every transfer case is a remanufactured exchange unit, and the listings are split by shift type, input spline count and whether a shift motor comes with it, so read the full title before you order.

What we stock

For the H2 there are three BW4484 cases. One covers 2008-2009 H2 with 32 spline input and female spline output, vendor SKU RTC4484G-2, electric shift, shift motor not included, Hollander number 412-647. Two cover 2003-2007 Hummer H2 with 27 spline front input, rear slip output and female spline front output, Hollander number 412-481: RTC4484G-1 without a shift motor and RTC4484G-1M with a new shift motor.

For the H3 there are two ratios. The BW4494 is listed for 2006-2010 Hummer H3 3.7L and 5.3L with 27 spline input, 32 spline slip yoke style rear output shaft, circular front output yoke, Option NR6 and a 4:1 ratio low range, AWD. The BW4493 is listed for 2006-2008 Hummer H3 3.7L with the same input and output description but Option NR4 and a 2.64:1 ratio low range. Each of those two model numbers appears twice, once with the shift motor not included and once with a new shift motor included.

The one differential is a remanufactured GM 7.6 IFS front carrier assembly for 2006-2010 Hummer H3, 4.56 ratio, without electric locker, axle family AAM 7.6, ring gear diameter 7.6, vendor SKU RAA440-118.

Buying and support

Match your unit by the tag number stamped on the case. The tag numbers and Hollander numbers listed on each product are the fastest way to confirm fit, and the NR4 or NR6 option code separates the two H3 cases. These are exchange units, so a refundable core charge may apply. Remanufactured drivetrain units carry a 6-month limited warranty. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core fee waiver are available on request for qualifying units, must be arranged at the time of purchase, and are not automatic.
