Description

Option Code DK4 and the 2016-2018 Jeep Cherokee years both have to line up for this Two Speed PTU. The three tag numbers recorded are 68307403AA, 68307403AB and 68307403AC, all sharing the same 68307403 base with only the suffix changing. A tag beginning with different digits is a different unit even where the option code reads the same. Check the tag itself before ordering, because the option code on its own does not settle it.

Remanufacturing & Warranty

Every transfer case we sell is fully remanufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Our remanufacturing process:

  • Deep Clean – To start the remanufacturing process, each transfer case is fully disassembled and cleaned
  • Inspection – Each transfer case is carefully inspected for cracks, excessive wear, shaft warp, and chain stretch
  • New Components – All seals, bearings, joints and rings are replaced as well as electrical components (solenoids and control units)
  • Validation – After reassembly, each individual transfer case is spin tested as part of a detailed checklist validation process

Every transfer case carries a 6-month limited warranty as standard. A 7-year / 1,000,000-mile extended warranty and a core-fee waiver are available on request for qualifying remanufactured units — ask us before you order and we will confirm eligibility.
