Mitsubishi here means remanufactured manual transmissions for the Eclipse. Three are listed: a 6-speed for 2006-2008 with the 3.8L (F6MBA), a 5-speed for 2006-2008 with the 2.4L (F5M42), and a 5-speed for 2000-2001 with the 2.4L engine (F5M42, ID F5M422F6NB, Hollander number 400-60959).

What to check

Engine size and speed count separate the two 2006-2008 units, so confirm whether your car is the 3.8L six-speed or the 2.4L five-speed. For the 2000-2001 unit, match the ID or the Hollander number stamped on your case.
